Eurostar reveals a limited-time sale featuring affordable train tickets to Lille, Paris, and additional destinations from Nov 12-14

Eurostar offers limited-time sale on cheap train tickets

Interested in a trip to Europe this winter?

If you’re organizing a trip, Eurostar frequently provides the easiest route to the continent, with services to sought-after city break locations such as Paris, Lille, and Amsterdam.

To mark their 30th anniversary, the train company has kicked off a massive flash sale, offering 30% discounts on all routes and booking categories.

However, you need to act swiftly. The promotion will occur for only three days, from November 12 through November 14.

What locations are available for ticket booking during the Eurostar flash sale?

The discount is applicable solely for journeys from November 26, 2024, to February 13, 2025.

The fares can be found on all their routes, including London to Paris, Lille, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Rotterdam; however, it is important to mention that trains to Amsterdam and Rotterdam necessitate a connection in Brussels. The promotion is also not valid beyond February 9 in these two cities.

How low are ticket prices in the Eurostar flash sale?

At the moment of writing, there were several great deals available.

Tickets for a February long weekend in Paris (January 31 to February 3) could be bought for as low as £78 return, while traveling to Lille costs £54 return on those same dates.

On the other hand, traveling during the middle of the week is even more affordable. Currently, a return ticket for January (Wednesday 8 to Thursday 9) is priced at £54 return to Lille, £79 to Brussels, £61 to Paris, £92.50 to Amsterdam, and £90.50 to Rotterdam.

The sale commemorates 30 years since the launch of the high-speed train service linking the UK with mainland Europe. Since that time, the collection of 28 trains has transported approximately 150 million travelers.

It’s difficult to imagine that the concept of the Channel Tunnel – the longest underwater tunnel in the world at 31.5 miles – was originally proposed in 1802, even though building didn’t begin until 1988.

It was ultimately finished in 1993, and the Eurostar commenced operations in November 1994, an astonishing 30 years ago.
