Dave Portnoy Received Letter From Taylor Swift

Dave Portnoy, the creator and proprietor of Barstool Sports, expressed his happiness upon receiving a personalized letter from Taylor Swift, seemingly expressing gratitude for his backing following her endorsement of Kamala Harris for president.
Swift broke tradition and entered the realm of politics in September by declaring her support for Harris in the upcoming US election. Following her approval, 300,000 individuals were encouraged to register to vote.
The pop star, aged 34, faced strong criticism from Republicans for endorsing Harris, with Donald Trump personally expressing his dislike for the singer.
Portnoy, a Trump supporter and avid fan of Swift, stood up for the “Cruel Summer” singer amidst the backlash she was facing.

In a post on X/Twitter, shared on 11 September, he wrote: “As the king of the Swifties people are asking me what I think of her Kamala endorsement. I don’t care at all. People can vote for whoever they want in this country. How somebody votes will never change my opinion of a person. I’m voting the other way but to each their own.”
Portnoy later went to Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Miami on 19 October, where he met Swift’s brother Austin and her mother Andrea and received a personalized letter from Swift.
He posted pictures on Instagram of the note, showing Swift’s custom wax seal.

In the letter, she wrote: “Dave, I’m so happy to have you at the show tonight! I wanted to say thank you for always being so supportive, so loyal, and for having my back when a lot of people didn’t. I hope you have a blast tonight!! Love, Taylor.”

Portnoy enthusiastically talked about the enjoyment he experienced at the concert in a lengthy video, expressing that he had an amazing time and was blown away by Taylor’s performance, while also extending gratitude for her letter.
He later spoke about the criticism he has faced from Taylor Swift fans and stated: “Not everyone agrees on every issue, politics, whatever it may be, world views — Swifties is about love and support and Taylor.”
Swift, who just revealed a new book about the Eras Tour, also had her popular song “22” featured in a campaign ad by Trump’s Team.
The Instagram account for “Team Trump” shared a video featuring Lara Trump, Lynne Patton, Sage Steele, and other women, all donning pink jackets with the Trump campaign emblem.
The video starts with the group mouthing the lyrics to Taylor Swift’s popular song “22”: “I don’t know about you, but I’m…” The music is suddenly cut off by the statement, , “voting Donald Trump, baby!”
