Israeli Airstrike: Beirut Devastating Video Footage Shows Beirut Residential Building Being Destroyed, Affecting 100s of Lives

Beirut building destroyed in Israeli Airstrike

Airstrike At Beirut

In less than five seconds, the structure in southern Beirut was completely destroyed, turning into rubble.

Inhabitants listened to the swoosh and witnessed a missile hitting the base of the tall building, causing it to collapse to the ground with a large cloud of gray smoke ascending and fragments scattering.

Videos shared on social media and confirmed that depicted a group of men observing the bombing of Beirut from afar, next to their vehicles as the structure collapsed. Others rode away on their motorcycles from the location.

In a different video, a man is shown fleeing from the impact while a huge noise echoes. Four additional men quickly leave while one cautions them to “move back so that the flying stones do not fall on you.”

Another video from a distance shows a dust cloud engulfing the neighborhood during the strike.

It wasn’t obvious right away if there were occupants or casualties in the building, but onlookers outside captured the strike from various perspectives.

Man Claiming There were Two Targets

“They targeted two buildings, not one,” in the third video, a man’s voice can be heard shouting. Several videos capture two explosions, but it is uncertain the origin of the second blast.

Israel has conducted a number of attacks on the city in the past few days, increasing its aggressive campaign, causing panic.

During the night on Sunday, the Israeli army attacked bank branches throughout Lebanon in order to disrupt Hezbollah’s financial operations.

After the Israel Defense Forces issued a series of evacuation orders, hundreds of residents in Lebanon’s capital and its surrounding suburbs had to leave their homes, followed by explosions.

IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari cautioned that orders for Beirut and other areas of Lebanon residents to evacuate were given before strikes on buildings linked to financing Hezbollah’s terror actions.

Officials at a hospital in Dahieh, a southern suburb of Beirut known as a Hezbollah stronghold, stated that they had emptied the medical facility in response to Israel’s assertion that a Hezbollah money storage room was located beneath the building.

The Israeli army claimed that Hezbollah has amassed hundreds of millions in cash and gold hidden in a bunker beneath Sahel General Hospital, a claim strongly rebutted by the hospital’s director.

Despite this, the IDF stated they would not directly target the hospital, yet Dr. Fadi Alami, the director of the medical facility, confirmed that officials were still in the process of evacuating the hospital.
