During the production of Spider-Noir, we were able to capture the first images of Cage performing a strange and unconventional scene by himself on set, displaying his unique acting style. Today, the set photos fans have eagerly anticipated have finally arrived: the authentic Spider-Man Noir outfit that will be featured in the show.

The information provided by TMZ clarifies that the person in the costume is not Nic Cage, but his stunt double acting as Spider-Noir. However, many Marvel enthusiasts will likely be pleased to note that the series is appearing to faithfully depict Spider-Man Noir, with recent set videos showcasing a thrilling car chase scene that captures the essence of the comic’s 1930s-1940s setting.
Morris Statement
Lamorne Morris (from New Girl) plays Robbie Robertson in Spider-Noir as a co-star. ComicBook recently interviewed Morris, who hinted that Spider-Noir will be more exciting than what the set photos have been showing.
“Well, I can’t say too much. I’ve been sworn to secrecy,” Morris said. “However, I will say it will be an experience unlike anything anyone’s ever seen on television. What they’re doing is insane. It really is insane, and I’m just grateful to have the opportunity to bring this version of Robbie Robertson to life. Folks who know me, you can assume that there’ll be a level of Lamorne in there, which is why they gave me the job. Like I said, I can’t tease too much, but I think fans will be overjoyed with what they see.”

Harry Bradbeer, Emmy Award Wining Director
Emmy award-winning director Harry Bradbeer, known for Fleabag and Killing Eve, is supervising the series and serving as executive producer for the initial two episodes. Oren Uziel (The Lost City, 22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (Marvel’s The Punisher, Shantaram) are co-showrunners and executive producers of the series. They collaborated with the Academy Award-winning team from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which comprises of Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal, in developing the show.
