Starbucks to offer drinks, merchandise inspired by ‘Wicked’, Fans 100% Excited

Starbucks is teaming up with Universal Pictures to mark the release of “Wicked” on Nov. 22 with two fresh drinks and a selection of cups inspired by the movie.

Beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 22, customers can find the two new drinks, which were influenced by Glinda and Elphaba from the film, at Starbucks stores across the country for a temporary period.

The drinks offered are:

  • Glinda’s Pink Potion: Includes a Mano Dragonfruit Starbucks Refresher drink mixed with coconut milk, ice, and a serving of freeze-dried dragonfruit. The beverage is adorned with dairy-free strawberry cold foam and sprinkled with a magical “Oz dusting,” also known as vibrant candy sprinkles.

  • Elphaba’s Cold Brew: Showcases Starbucks Cold brew made from a unique blend of beans designed to be steeped cold for an extended period, resulting in a “ultra-smooth cold brew coffee.” The beverage is sweetened using peppermint-flavored syrup, then finished with nondairy matcha cold foam and vibrant green candy sprinkles.

‘Wicked’ drink containers, Starbucks Cards will also be offered

According to the company, select Starbucks stores in the U.S., Canada, and some international markets will offer drinkware and Starbucks Cards inspired by “Wicked” starting on Oct. 22.

According to Starbucks, these stores will have a variety of cold cups, tumblers, keychains, and more, featuring vibrant pink, bold green, and glistening gold shades in the collection.

Furthermore, Starbucks has announced that a unique design, resembling a gold-hued card in a Grimmerie-inspired casing that also functions as a keychain, will not be released until Nov. 7. This special card requires a $50 minimum load.

These products will only be on offer for a short period, as long as there is stock available.
